I earned my first ever IPO1 title with Animosh. A little red female Australian Cattle dog with no pedigree and no papers that I picked up off a farm in Missouri. She was a typical cattle dog and was very willful. She was confident in new environments, would climb on and over anything including 6 foot tall fences, and had no problem with any surfaces. She was social and friendly with people she knew well.
Unfortunately Animosh was retired early to a pet home, due to on going issues with her teeth, as well as other health issues that started at a very young age. When I trialed for her IPO 1 the judge told me "She leaves nothing on the table when she works." Animosh taught me a lot about dog training and I learned a lot about IPO with her. Most of all, she taught me that determination and hard work pay off. Animosh IPO1 A73 B93 C88. Not too bad for a little cattle dog with no teeth.
