About Us
Located in Northwestern Arkansas, Izac's Home was named for Ico - Z - Animosh - and Cobar, the first four dogs that took me on my journey into IGP dog sport. It is my goal to train and produce dogs that are healthy, posses stable temperaments, and are suitable for multiple applications including, working dog sports, police work, and detection work.
I discovered the dog sport known as IPO/IGP and previously known as Schutzhund in 2010. I joined my local club, and began formally training my Australian Cattle dogs Ico and Animosh. Just a few months later I earned CGC awards on both dogs. Then a year and half later in 2012, I received my first two BH awards. I was hooked at that point. I went on to earn APr 1 titles on both dogs, as well as several BBCR titles. My first IPO 1 title was with Animosh in the fall of 2013.
Having already retired Ico at that point and having to retire Animosh due to her on-going health issues, I acquired Cobar to continue on in IGP. However, since I had the opportunity to work with Malinois through my local club, I had decided I wanted to train one in IGP as well. So, I took the leap and got Z my first Belgian Malinois. I have since gone on to train and work with several other dogs of various breeds. While I have a full time career outside of dog sports; IGP has become much more then just a hobby or a sport to me, it has become an integral part of my life.
